Lauren C. Lurkins joined the firm as an associate in 2006. Ms. Lurkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) in Environmental Science from Saint Louis University in 2003. She was awarded her Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Lurkins was a Research Assistant for Professor Patricia McCubbin, who specializes in teaching environmental law, and a law clerk for Hodge Dwyer Zeman and another private firm. She also was a published member of the Law Journal, Secretary of the Student Bar Association, and a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the Environmental Law Society and the Women’s Law Forum. Ms. Lurkins is admitted to the Illinois bar and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Central Illinois Women’s Bar Association and the Sangamon County Bar Association.
