Monica T. Rios joined the firm as an associate in 2005. Ms. Rios earned a Bachelor of Science degree (summa cum laude) in political science from Central Michigan University in 2000. She was awarded her Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) from the American University Washington College of Law in 2004. While in law school, Ms. Rios was a Dean's Fellow for the LL.M Research and Writing Program and worked as a law clerk at National Fuel Gas Company in Buffalo, New York. She also was a member of the Hispanic Law Students' Association and a board member of the Women's Law Association. Ms. Rios is admitted to the Illinois bar and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Central Illinois Women's Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
